1. Purpose of the Platform
Confessional.info provides a space where adults can share what weighs on their hearts anonymously. The platform is intended for reflective, sincere, and respectful confessions related to spirituality, conscience, relationships, and personal experiences. It is not a social network, messaging service, or therapy platform.
2. Eligibility – 18+ Only
- You must be at least 18 years old to access or use this site.
- By entering and using Confessional.info, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.
- If you are under 18, you must not use this platform.
3. Anonymity and Privacy
- We do not ask for your name, email address, or account to submit a confession.
- Do not include real names, addresses, phone numbers, or any other identifying information about yourself or others in your confession.
- For moderation and security, we may store a hashed version of your IP address and a truncated user agent string. These are used only to protect the platform from abuse and do not identify you directly.
4. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Content
You agree that you will not submit any content that:
- Contains threats, harassment, or bullying directed at any individual or group.
- Reveals personal data or doxxes others (names, contact details, addresses, or any information that can identify a private person).
- Contains hate speech, incitement to violence, or attacks based on religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics.
- Promotes or describes illegal activities in a way that is intended to facilitate or glorify them.
- Contains sexual content involving minors or any form of child exploitation.
- Is spam, advertising, or promotional material.
- Attempts to technically disrupt, overload, or abuse the platform.
We reserve the right to remove, reject, or report content that violates these rules or applicable law.
5. No Emergency, Therapy, or Legal Service
- Confessional.info is not a crisis hotline, emergency service, or professional counseling platform.

- Nothing on this site constitutes medical, psychological, pastoral, or legal advice.
6. Submissions and Moderation
- When you submit a confession, you grant Confessional.info a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, review, and, where applicable, display or otherwise use the text in anonymized form.
- All submissions are stored with a status (e.g., pending, approved, rejected) for moderation purposes.
- We may edit confessions for length, clarity, or to remove identifying details before any potential sharing.
- We are not obligated to store or display any submission and may delete content at our discretion.
7. Optional Sharing
Currently, the platform is designed primarily for private, anonymous confessions. If in the future we allow users to explicitly opt in to anonymized public or social-media sharing, such sharing will:
- Be optional and require your clear consent at the time of submission.
- Always exclude names, contact details, and specific identifying information.
- Be subject to moderation and potential editing for safety, clarity, and anonymity.
8. Service Availability and Changes
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of Confessional.info. The site may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or other reasons.
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without prior notice.
9. Liability Disclaimer
- Confessional.info is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind.
